Our Mission & Vision II

The African Dream Initiative is dedicated to transforming the lives of forgotten children in East Africa. We find bright children living on the edges of society – including refugees, AIDS orphans, former child soldiers, abducted girls, and child laborers – and provide them with long-term, quality education, leadership and critical thinking skills, and other resources they need to become leaders in their communities and beyond.

Our vision is a world in which every disadvantaged child has the opportunity to fulfill their academic and leadership potential and have dreams of a better life come true.
